The Program
Day 1 : Tirana – Berat
- Afternoon departure by car to Berat. Situated below the historic citadel and with old houses of outstanding beauty and architecture Berat is known as “the city of thousand windows”.
- Dinner and overnight at Berat.
Day 2 : Berat
- After breakfast visit to the Onuphri Icon Museum containing some of the finest examples of his work as well as of other famous Albanian artists.
- Visit the lovely painted Mosque of the Bachelors; and the Tekke of the Helvetis with its beautiful portico.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- After lunch there will be the possibility to taste wine in two famous local wine factories in Berat. They have both been awarded in International and National Wine Fairs.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight in the hotel.
Day 3 : Berat – Ardenica – Apollonia – Tirana
- After breakfast proceed to Ardenica – with its medieval monastery surrounded by stone walls.
- Lunch at local restaurant in Ardenica.
- After lunch continue the tour by coach towards the ancient Greek settlement of Apollonia – Founded in 588 BC.
- Afternoon departure to Tirana.
